Recently, I saw someone buy the Tesco’s chicken goujons on instagram.
Instantly I wanted them.
At the first chance I had, I went and purchased a packet. And I’m so glad I did.
They only take 10 or so minutes to cook, so they’re a very quick and easy meal. Pair them with a salad, like I did, and you’ve got yourself a somewhat healthy, but very tasty meal.
Oh and can’t forget, the Nando’s sauce on the side.
They’re very filling, which is great, but they’ve only got 9 in a packet (or at least that was how many was in mine) so cook them sparingly to save them.
But let me tell you, they’re the nicest tasting things I’ve tried in a while.
They taste like genuine, non gluten free chicken goujons. No, they taste like nuggets. Which is amazing.
They aren’t dry at all, I admit I was expecting them to be fairly dry but I was so surprised. They’re a great find, a good step towards making gluten free food taste exactly like the food you remember.
The only downside is the price. £3 for the packet seems quite expensive, but I’d honestly pay that any day for this kind of taste.
I can’t recommend them enough. If you’re old, young or anything in between, you will love them. They’re quite honestly something refreshingly full of flavour and worth every penny, in my opinion.
You might be thinking, “Alice, they’re just chicken goujons, calm down”, but no. You need to try them and I’m sure you’ll be raving about them too!
If you’ve tried them, let me know what you think!
